For many years now Maxi Club Sofia has been hosting one of the 488 French schools, spread across 130 countries. This is the largest and most prestigious network of international schools in the world. 

The French Lyceum Victor Hugo was founded in 1966 and it is preferred by numerous Bulgarians, permanent French residents, diplomatic representatives and people from the business world, all accounting to 25 nationalities. 

The school currently has 630 students and grows steadily every year. Children study according to the French educational system since age 3, with the help of highly qualified teachers, most of which have been selected by the Agency for French Foreign Education and are among the best in France.
